On February 25, United Caring Services (UCS) is hosting the Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY), a 1 & 3-mile winter walk (with a self-organized virtual option) hosted in support of United Caring Services’ mission and work in Evansville, IN with people experiencing homelessness, hurt, and hunger.
- OUR MISSION: To provide values-based, low barrier, sustainable, and high-quality homeless shelters, services, and solutions.
- EVENT GOAL: With your help, our goal is to raise $22,000 by February 25, 2023!
- HOW: To accomplish our goal, we’re looking for team captains (of all shapes, sizes, and ages) who will recruit friends to their team. If we have 15 teams raising $1500 each, we will make our goal!
- BEANIE “HAT” BONUS: Every walker who raises either $75 (youth 17 and under) or $150 (for adults) gets a famous Coldest Night winter beanie as thanks for being amazing fundraisers.

- Select the LOCATION (Evansville, IN) where you’ll be walking/leading a team.
- Click to accept the waiver.
- Under REGISTRATION TYPE, click CREATE A TEAM.
- NAME your team (and write a brief description) – Be creative, have fun, and keep it family-friendly. 😊 You can use the name again next year. It will help you recruit walkers & donations, and we will use it to recognize and thank you.
- SET your Team’s fundraising goal. (This can be edited/increased later!)
- ONCE YOU’VE REGISTERED
- Your team will show up on UCS’s CHARITY PAGE: cnoy.com/Evansville (Check it out!)
- Your team and name will show on the Scoreboard and location page. (Note: it takes 5-10 minutes to appear.)
- RECRUIT: You can begin recruiting team members and raising funds immediately!
- GIVE: Make an initial donation to show that the team is active and inspire others to join.
- SHARE: Share your Team’s donation link.

How to JOIN a TEAM for UNITED CARING SERVICES.
- Visit cnoy.com and click the big “REGISTER to FUNDRAISE” button.
- Create your new account (or login in if you’ve already created an account).
- Select the LOCATION (Evansville, IN) where you’ll be walking.
- Click to accept the WAIVER and continue.
- Click JOIN A TEAM (or register individually if you wish and join a team later).
- Search for your TEAM by team name or captain name.
- Select that team from the list and proceed to complete registration.
- NO TEAM? That is OK! If you would like to walk but don’t want to start a team/don’t have a team to join, then JOIN our UCS team called the Community of Caring Team.
- GIVE: Donate to the team.
- INVITE others to walk, join a team, be a team captain, and donate.
