Future: An opportunity to serve our community.
In 2018, United Caring Services acquired 318, 320, and 322 East Cherry Street located behind Ruth’s House across the alley.
These lots are currently vacant.
We hope, as time passes, to develop a plan, gather partners, and proceed with the construction of flexible, low-income housing to support and stabilize people (preferably families) in their exit from homelessness.

United Caring Services is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization -- a homeless shelter and services agency -- that provides people in need access to crisis stabilization services through six life-saving programs: a day shelter (drop-in center) for men, women, and children, emergency night shelters for single men and women, additional "white/red flag" emergency shelter during inclement weather, an innovative recuperative care program of medical respite and diversion (soon) services for men and women, and low-income studio apartments/housing.
